Last week I've finally received Schleich's Acacia tree for my Savannah collection. These trees are quite expensive and cost around $30 per unit. However, I've managed to get this one on a clearance sale at only $17.90! Well, here are the pix!

Excellent price Gabe and very nice tree! As you live in the USA, where do you buy your items/figures from? Is there a zoo in NY? If there is do they sell figurines there? ~ Sue

Hello Sue Of course there are zoos in NY. The largest and best of them all is the Bronx Zoo . Don't know if they sell there figures but in the museum of Natural History they sell Safari Ltd. ones. I mostly buy my figures from either local Toys R Us stores or ReallyGreatToys.com (very good and reliable site!)

Congrats on your Acacia-tree Gabe! But don't mistake, they are expensive here in the Netherlands too, although i bought mine in the internet for a reasonable price, i forgot what i paid, but in the shops or on Dutch internet-sites they are asking around the 30 euro mark, which is more then $ 42 ! And that for a country that is next to Germany!

Congrats for the gorgeous tree! And lucky you for the price. And I agree with MartinH, a giraffe would look good under it.
