I have been wanting to make a diorama for my animals, but I wanted to do this one first. I know it doesn't have any animals in it, but I hope you will enjoy it anyways. We collect 1973-1987 chevy/gmc trucks, so that is the main theme of this diorama. I hope you enjoy.

This is the first set up to see where I wanted everything.

Here is once I added the grass, tree and caliche around the shops.

Hope you enjoy. This is a 2 foot by 4 foot diorama to give you an idea of the size.

A very nice collection. flower
I do not know the first thing about cars, but it must be fun to find those old models.
It will be fun to watch as you put living creatures in the diorama, do you have mechanics and such also ?
Or maybe figueres from the same time ?

Hopefully you will show us how it develops Very Happy

Thank you for sharing cheers

Very nice, I like the roofs to come off so you can see inside. I can not wait to see when all of the landscaping is finished.

Thanks everyone for your comments. The scale is 1/64, which is the standard size for most hot wheels. Finding all the trucks was the fun part. This diorama is pretty much finished. I am looking for some mechanics and maybe a family for it. Other than that, I will do one last layer of grass and caliche and then I am making a plexiglass cover for it. I want to try to concentrate more on my animal dioramas. This was just a simple diorama for my husband and he loved it.
