| I am quite exited about these, that I found on Ebay, - the fowl look exactly like the old Schleich, but it only says "Made in Portugal" under them . So I think the seller is right, they are made by Maia +Borges. They don`t put their name on the sealife either. Also the figueres have the same silky feel as other M+B-figueres   The dark rooster from "Made in Portugal" is plain brown, - the one from Schleich to the right for comparison. | Thank you, Harriet I love them, - they look so much like Schleich, I have to look under them so see the difference. BTW, - it is a terrific idea that you have your name as "signature". I wish all with funny IDs would do the same. My old brain finds it harder and harder to remember the names as we grow more "villagers"   |

| Very nice finds indeed! The fact that they look like Schleich is not an accident, Maja & Borges made models for Schleich for many years, and have the permission to use a lot of their original moulds...  |

Hey, I have that duck on the right! Mine just says China though (and has a nasty seam on its butt), so I guess it's a knockoff. Cool models, I especially like the draft horses. |

Yup ! I have app 800 squaremeters of stables with only 21 Canarie-birds in, so there is room for them
