| Received my second lot of these today, and I'm as ambivalent as ever. The first ones I got were the horses (cartoony, but good) and dinosaurs (crap). This time I got the Madagascar and Endangered tubes, and... well, I still don't know what I think. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now, the Madagascar tube is just plain excellent. The reptiles, frog and cockroach I don't know well enough to say how accurate they are, but they look good. The lemurs - which as far as I've been able to figure out are a ringtail, a red ruffed lemur, and a coquerel's sifaka (bizarrely they aren't labeled) - are very nice, though presumably not to scale. The fossa, too, is great. All in all this set compares favorably to the Safari toobs, even if the paintjobs seem a little haphazard. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Endangered Species tube, on the other hand... How do I put this? It really is nothing special. True, the orangs are excellent, and that was why I bought it in the first place. The rest, however... they're not bad, just severely dull. While there's nothing wrong with the sculpting per se, there is very little real detail, just texture. Frankly they look like any old made in china cheapo set you could get anywhere. Well, the elephants and pandas are ok - but you have to work really hard to manage to mess up a panda! Hopefully this is an old set from a time before they realized the value of making good models. |

The lemurs from 1-st tube are not bad and no problems with scale in comparison with lions or leopards! And the lemurs are very rare species on the model market. I have 3 figurines from K&M (2) and Safari (1) tubes but all of them are only one species - "ringtail lemur". ...This is my K&M lemurs (2 variants models)... | I have some K&M figures, mainly of small animals! I have to find this Madagascar polybag, I think is not hard to find it in local shops arround here! @Susanne, In polybags the names Wild Republic are written and in the figures we see K&M, so I think that it's the same thing! Try to search Wild Republic using the same way that your doing with Papo and you will find it! |

| K&M and Wild Republic are the same. TGY toys in the US has many of their tubes, bags and adventure sets. Very interesting species, but not to scale, for those of you more interested in dioramas. |

| Great finds there! K&M or Wild Republic has some nice bigger figurines too, often named with their names in English and scientific names under the belly... Here are some of mine...
